We are plant enthusiasts crafting hybrid forms of ancient and contemporary practices with plant life and other earthlings.
We explore methods and seek knowledge that connects people, plants, and place in a shifting climate.
Our current research and interests include:
The potentials of reciprocal and community forestry practice.
The incorporation of regenerative land management practices into public space.
Revealing new approaches towards equitable food systems.
Coppicing is an ancient practice that embodies our core values of regeneration and reciprocity. To coppice is to cut a tree to the ground to stimulate growth. Rather than harming the tree, coppicing generates highly diverse woodlands with healthier, longer-lived trees.
